Extraction of Explosive Dusts

Explosive dusts in zone 22 have different hazards – the requirements for the vacuum cleaner and the accessories are the same as for dust classes L, M or H but with the suffix Type 22. EVOTEC vacuum cleaners are tested in accordance with EN 60335-2-69 including Appendix AA and EN 62784 as well as ATEX 2014/34/EU.
Further zones 1/2 and 21 are possible on request.
There are various applications for the use of EX-protected vacuum cleaners, e.g.

  • Extraction of the finest powder residues such as paint powder, instant powder, metal powder, etc.
  • Extraction in silos or power plants
  • Extraction of substances that can ignite themselves due to static charging, e.g. flour
