Extraction of Fine dust
Fine dust can be a health hazard in different ways. The more dangerous or finer the dust is – the higher the selected dust class should be:-
- Dust class M: Dust of this dust class is considered to be “medium” hazardous.
“High” filtration requirements apply to all dusts with AGW > 0.1 mg/m³. The maximum permeability of the vacuum cleaner may be 0.1 %. - Dust class H: Dust of this dust class is considered to be “highly” hazardous.
“The “highest” requirement applies to filtering for all dusts with AGW < 0.1 mg/m³ (including carcinogenic dusts, dusts with germs/bacteria, asbestos*). The maximum permeability of the vacuum cleaner must not exceed 0.005 %!
