Extraction of soldering and welding fumes
During soldering or welding, hazardous smoke, vapours or odours are produced which must be extracted. The following must be observed:
Special guidelines apply to the welding of stainless steel: Depending on how high the chromium/nickel content in the stainless steel is, a device with IFA test certificate W3 is required. However, only if circulating air is used.
The welding smoke detection or welding smoke extraction can take place via a vacuum arm, a hood or directly at the welding torch.
The filtered air can be led back into the working area or led outside via a pipeline.
