The relevant models of our EVOTEC FEX and IPA extraction systems have been tested by IBExU and approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Depending on the model, solutions are available for ATEX Zones 1 and 2, as well as 21 and 22 —for the safe extraction of gases, vapors, and explosive dusts.
Verified Safety
The IBExU Institute for Safety Technology, LLC , headquartered in Freiberg, has specialized in explosion protection for decades. It is a European Notified Body under Directive 2014/34/EU, as well as an accredited testing laboratory and an accredited certification body for equipment and protective systems in potentially explosive atmospheres.
For us, passing this audit is therefore not just a formal certification, but further confirmation of our high standards for safety, quality, and reliable extraction technology for demanding industrial processes.
