    • EX protection: Safe extraction of combustible and potentially explosive dusts

    Explosive dusts in zone 22 pose a considerable safety risk. Special solutions are available on request for zones 1/2 and 21. Depending on the material and environment, they can be highly flammable and cause explosions if handled improperly. Therefore, specially equipped industrial vacuum cleaners that meet the highest safety standards are required.

    The requirements for EX-protected vacuum cleaners correspond to dust classes L, M or H, but with the additional classification type 22. EVOTEC vacuum cleaners are tested in accordance with EN 60335-2-69 incl. Annex AA. The required design also complies with EN 62784 and ATEX 2014/34/EU.
