The control technology is not only essential for the performance, but also for the safety of your extraction system. Accordingly, the new FEX series features optimized, customizable control technology . Especially in combination with the gas and particle sensor this ensures maximum safety and quality.
Precise filter level indicator and filter status messages
The filter fill level is displayed as a percentage in real time, separately for each filter. In addition, there are various filter status messages that are clearly communicated by pictograms and LEDs.
Comprehensive types of error messages including error log
The control technology also offers a wide range of precise error messages. These are also clearly communicated using pictograms and LEDs. In addition, each error message is linked to an error code. In combination with the clear error log, this ensures seamless traceability and smooth service.
The precise error messages and the error log make it possible to rectify faults quickly and eliminate the need for time-consuming troubleshooting. This prevents costs and ensures maximum production reliability and production quality.
Reliable test routine for all-round functionality
The FEX control unit has a comprehensive test routine to ensure functionality and therefore safety. This includes the individual buttons on the control panel, all functions of the LED displays, the engine and the gas and particle sensor. This generates an active status display with an error code.
Control technology configurable according to your requirements
The FEX extraction systems not only have a customizable combi filter system, the control technology can also be adapted to your requirements. This ensures the best possible results for your extraction process.
User roles with different authorizations
The FEX control technology has a user role hierarchy with different authorization levels. You can set individual passwords for each user for maximum security. Furthermore, you can reset the roles and passwords with a simple reset if required. Each user can view all relevant technical data, such as operating hours or filter service life.
Adjustable run-on time and alarm configuration
The run-on time of your extraction system can also be adjusted to your extraction process. You can set your FEX to a run-on time of up to 10 minutes to achieve the highest possible extraction rate and process quality. Not all alarm messages may be relevant to your extraction process. You therefore have the option of deactivating individual alarm messages that are irrelevant to you and adapting them to your needs.
Gas and particle sensor
The gas and particle sensor upgrade offers you even more safety and customization options.
Shutdown function
The sensor can initiate an immediate shutdown of the machine in the event of various events, such as a filter breakthrough. This ensures the safety of your production process as well as the functionality of your extraction system, as motor faults caused by suction are prevented. The saturation of the activated carbon filter is also monitored.
Configuration according to your requirements
Just like the control technology, the sensor can also be configured via the customer menu. Waiting time, cleaning, flushing function are adjustable, as is the general sensitivity (1% – 99%) of the sensor. The alarm functions can also be set separately for gas and particle alarms.
